Dru moves around with her dad, an ex army guy who hunts "nasties", as she puts it. Dru has the touch to see them and he has been training her all her life to be able to handle herself. But when she has to take him out after he becomes a reanimated corpse (zombie) Dru has to call on her training to be able to handle herself in the Real World.I found this interesting. A solid four out of five stars. Could have used some more punch in areas, but it was still a fun read. Imagine Resident Evil crossed with Vanhelsing, crossed with Men in Black and put a teenager in the main heroine's role and you have a good idea of a start of what this is about. Lots of fun and I am curious to read another one. I'm even more curious to read Miss St. Crow's adult books (The Dante Valentine books and the Jill Kismet series) even though this YA book was definately more adult than young.
